As part of our ongoing effort to contribute to the society in little ways that we are capable of, Easiprocess has partnered with YMCA in order to support AIDS afflicted children.

YMCA Mangalore is involved in community health work to increase awareness of HIV/AIDS and promote safe practice among truck drivers, sex workers, high school and college students and young migrants in and around Mangalore. (Karnataka, the state in which Mangalore is located, is one of five Indian states identified as having a high prevalence of HIV infections).

As part of its wider HIV/AIDS work, YMCA, Mangalore runs a children’s home where a dedicated YMCA team care for around 60 children aged six to fourteen. The YMCA Home provides them with food, education, health care and palliative care, as well as providing for hospitalisation when necessary. YMCA, Mangalore also runs a hospital in Udupi (near Mangalore), which provides free medical services and HIV/AIDS treatment (in patient and out patient) to the adults who suffer from the deadly ailment.

Easiprocess has extended financial support of £10,000 via its parent company Kent Reliance (currently OneSavings Bank Plc.), to support the children’s home in Mangalore. Besides this Easiprocess acts as an ambassador of YMCA Mangalore in the UK and grabs every opportunity to make known the needs of YMCA in UK. Through this, Easiprocess has also been able to win the support of Cordoba Financial Services, UK and London and European, UK who have come forth to support the orphanage financially. Easiprocess has also donated a 25 seater vehicle to help transport the children to and from school.

YMCA and Easiprocess share a bond of friendship. Easiprocess endeavours to provide support to YMCA Mangalore in our best efforts to make the timed existence of the children, more meaningful.
